All right all you firebreathers, Patty has saved my week for the last of the coaches rotation (best for last? wink). I have chosen some uni-lateral movements to change things up a little and to test/expose any imbalances. " " 9 right, 9 left..... 9 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls.... " " 8 right, 8 left..... 8 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls... all the way to 1 rep for time. For the lunges... men use 1 10lb dumbbell, Ladies use a 1 5lb plate. during the lunges the dumbbell is held STRAIGHT out to the side parallel to the floor using a hammer grip(thumb up, like the Fonz), perform 10 lunges with Right ARM FIRST, then switch dumbbell to the LEFT ARM and perform 10 more lunges. Keep torso upright, and the depth of the lunge should be so the trailing leg is approxamately a few inches from the ground. Also keep the lead leg stable and dont leg it move side to side. Then perform 10 S.D.H.P's, Men use 75lbs, ladies 55lbs If class size is a problem... have the lunges performed stationaryimageimageimage
