Wednesday Workout

Well, i hope everyone enjoyed yesterday's 5 km in disguise (insert evil laugh). After two looong workouts it's time to take a bit of a breather. I know traditionally Wednesday is gymnastics focused but this week I am shaking things up a little bit with some heavy lifting. Technique: Review shoulder press, push press and push/split jerk Workout: This one requires a little bit of calculation. Pick a weight for the following: 5 rounds with 3 minute breaks of (no re-racking the bar): Max shoulder press - each shoulder press equals 3 pts Max push press - each push press equals 2 pts Max push or split jerks - each jerk equals 1 pts Take your total number of points and multiply by your weight. This is your total score, so choose your weight carefully. The following video emphasizes how important it is to be aware of your surroundings when performing lifts. So make sure you don't drop your weights on yourself or anybody else and go to it. -Kermit
