Week of Max - Day One

Hi crew. I hope everyone is recovering nicely from the weekend shenanigans. This week of workouts will be focused on shorter, heavier metabolic conditioning workouts and lots of weightlifting. We'll explore this approach throughout the week. If you are interested, a good place to start reading is here, more specifically posts #1 and #6. Feel free to discuss, debate and criticize the programming in the comments. I encourage people to ask questions about the motivation behind the workouts we'll be doing this week. Also feel free to send me an email at if for whatever reason the comment section looks scary. We'll kick off this week with a benchmark workout. "Elizabeth" 21-15-9 Cleans (135/85) Ring dips Please note that the cleans are SQUAT cleans. We'll keep scaling simple for today. Reduce the weight on the cleans if they are too heavy to use good form. Use bands if 45 ring dips are an impossibility at this point in time.
